I wanted to know if I combine the both? I was looking at purchasing a 2.2 MBP and if I could have it for 1699 new, that would be awesome.

I'm 95% sure it works. If you want to guarantee it works, just turn the rebate into a gift card.

It turns out you can't purchase gift cards or itunes credit with it, but doesn't mention anything about combining it with other discounts. Hopefully I'll be allowed to use it.

On a side note, I know no one knows for sure, but if the MBP gets updated this january, will it also be redesigned? I kinda want a new laptop now and was gonna get the 2.2 mbp. I don;t really care much for the Penryn update as long as the updated one doesn't see a redesign as well because then it will make my mbp look really outdated.
