I heard there are educational discounts on mac book pros but I'm wondering how it works and also when they release new revisions in june or July can discount be used right away or u have to wait few months.

You can get an educational discount on all apple hardware, including recently released/updated and current generation. There is no waiting period.
Just show your ID and you can buy it. Additionally you can go to your campus bookstore and buy the computer from there as many colleges sell them directly.

When ordering online it is not necessary to put in anything other than the school you so called attend. I ordered my MB about 2 years ago and did not ask for anything.
As I've learned, some institutions have much deeper discounts than the regular education store. For these discounts, you have to either have proof of enrollment or access the Apple store through a web portal which requires a valid login from your institution.
