Education discount when buying over the phone

Just wondering what proof (if any) you will need to provide when ordering a mbp to get the education discount for a college and how do you provide it?

when i first ordered a computer from the education store i had to fax a copy of a letter on headed paper from my college that was dated and confirmed i was a student there.

then the next time i had to email my acceptance letter to university to apple in order to qualify for it.

and now im at uni i just use the university network to get direct access to the online higher ed store which doesnt require me to confirm anything as you can only access it from university
