So I've been out of school for 2 years and still have my ID.

Are there any questions asked when you want the edu discount at the retail store, or do they just look at it to confirm its you and thats it?

My college id is from the fall senester, when i showed it to the guy at the store he noticed but said it doesnt matter. So i guess no.

It differs from shop to shop. From my experience, sometimes people ask (and wanna se card etc.) other times they don't care...

But I haven't been to an apple store ^^

yeh my biggest issue is them calling the # on the back to confirm if I'm still a student. my ID is old and dont want them to start asking questions.

I've always bought products from the Apple Store (occasionally Amazon ;-) but I've never had them do more than a quick glance at the card. I did have one swipe his finger across the picture to see if I pasted another photo on top of a real card.

I suppose their is a way they check it via online.
But they never asked me for anything when I ordered online. At all.
I just put in my college and got the discount. I guess they call and verify? If not they would probably loose thousands. If not more. From people just putting in a school.
