Not for the iPhone, or any iPod. The education discount only applies to computers, laptops, and software; primarily.

Not on the device, but depending on which organization or union you're with you may get monthly service discounts

FYI Union workers who have an AFL-CIO union are eligible for discounts from unionplus.org... one of which is 15% off AT&T monthly service.

Unfortunately, no. And I do not believe they've had one in the past neither.

Oh well. Was worth a try. My wife works at a large London university so was keeping my fingers crossed for a positive answer

FWIW, not even Apple employees receive a discount on the iPhone hardware price!
