Education shipments????

I purchased a 2 g MBP 15 C2d today via Apple education web site. I was given a Nov 9th ship date and an arrival date of 11/15.

I am curious if anybody else has order / received a similar order and what the actual delivery was?

Seems like a long time to ship a computer.

Yeah, I ordered through the developer store (ADC Student).. ordered a 2.16 MBP, stock except for a glossy screen. Ordered on Wednesday morning (Nov. 1), and it has an expected Nov 8 ship date and Nov 14 arrival date, even though I paid for expedited shipping. I'm pretty sure (well, hoping anyways), that the dates are just stock plugs, rather than actual expectations.

I also ordered through the developer store (ADC student.) My estimated day that it would be shipped by was October 31st. It actually ended up shipping October 29th with an estimated delivery date of November 2nd, but I received it November 1st.


(It was standard shipping + base config of the MBP)
