After placing an order in the education site if they will send a follow up email verifying whether you're a student or not?? not sure if this will delay my order?

Bought every Apple product under Education discount. I’ve been out of college for years. Apple doesn’t check. Yes, its not much of a discount, but take advantage!!

Im planning on doing it the same way..been out of college for a few yrs now..so will just order it online..that is why Im doing my trade in in store, i dont want to order the new laptop online using EDU, then getting the trade in in store towards the order because they will ask to verify that Im a student, so will just trade it in first, then order using EDU

one thing I am worried about is normally the APP goes live before the websites. I feel tomorrow with the new MacBooks getting this discount might delay my order about a month or so :( hopefully I am wrong! I am sure going on there to save the $200 plus 10% off the added specs.

EDU store doesn’t maintain separate inventory, but you can’t buy products with the EDU discount from the app anyway

It'll be worth the wait. Also like @baummer said, Education store is only on desktop site. The app doesn't allow store changes [education or business]. They should have the option.

I've never seen Macs treated like iPhones & iPads as far as Pre-orders. Last years M1 launch had my MacBook Pro available for launch day well into the night. Orders will go live right after the event.
