Does anyone know if you can get the Apple EDU discount through an Apple reseller?

only apple can offer you the Apple education discount. but you may want to ask. other resellers may have their own education discount. i got $50 off my PB from J&R and not having to pay taxes, it turned out to be the same price as apple edu. store price. (but i ordered from J&R because they had it in stock, apple store didn't...)

Yeah, the taxes and the promotions (512 of memory and a laptop bag right now) could outweigh Apple's EDU discount.

But, wouldn't it be nice to get both? :D

How did you get that $50 off? Did you call and tell them you were EDU?

yeah, i just asked over the phone. it could have been made up for all i know, but i got the $50 off...
