My university shows up at the Apple Store (it says it on top) and I get the discounted price when I go through the check-out process, but I got to the "Place Order" page and there was no mention of anything else regarding my school.

Do I have to put in my school ID anywhere? Does Apple notify the school? How does it work exactly? I'm a bit confused with that.

Apple does random audits of web orders. If they contact you, you'll have to have an ID/schedule or other proof that you are student. If they don't contact you, there's nothing else for you to do except enjoy your Mac.

That's it? Random? I find that hilarious for some reason.

Thanks for the quick reply :)

Yeah, I get an edu discount through my wife's school and I've never been questioned about it. But I've also made purchases in store with a school ID, so maybe I'm on record or something.
