I'm in 9th grade and My school is listed, I plan to buy in store. Would I still get the discount? Would they need proof? I have a old I.D. somewhere I think.

From what I understand places like Macmall are priced at the same as educational pricing? Maybe its only during certain time but macmall and microcenter has some good prices on Apple.
