Hi, with all that has been said about the NSA and all, I would like to know how secure are our informations on iCloud (calendar, emails, photos and soon iCloud drive). I don't have anything to hide but just like anybody I care about my privacy.

iCloud works very well imo but is it secure?

thanks

iCloud is not secure. My suggestion is to encrypt your data yourself before it leaves your computer using open source tools only. GnuPG is a well vetted tool for email and file encryption: https://gpgtools.org/gpgsuite.html

Make sure all passwords are 20+ characters and use every class of keys available.

What kind of responses do you expect?
Do you think anyone on here has a vague clue on the inner workings of Apple's services?
If so, you are wrong.

It is safe to assume that once something leaves your computer, it isn't safe. Especially since I remember reading that the NSA can even crack all the VPNs out there.
