EE iphone unlock request

Hello all.

To cut a long story short, my wife upgraded her 5S to a SE. I am upgrading later in the year but want a IP7 but to get into iOS I'm keeping her 5S rather than selling it.

On average ohow long am expected to wait before I can activate another sim after requesting an unlock two days ago.

I did my o2 5C and it completed in two days but I fear EE are going to keep me waiting!!! Anyone else able to share their EE unlock experience?

I think you have to restore the phone before the unlock works.... I might be wrong about that though.

You'll receive a text from EE on the contact number you provided when requesting the unlock once the unlock is completed. The longest I've known it take is about five days.

Ah ok, Yet to restore it as was ensuring my wife was happy with her SE.

Yeah nothing yet a few days in.. hoping then by the weekend I'll be able to set it up for me!

I have never restored any iPhone I've had after being unlocked. I've never had any problems doing it that way.
