EFI 1.7 now pre-installed on 13" 2,53GHz MBP ?

Hi,

yesterday I got a new MacBookPro 2,53GHz.
After a short check I found out, that the EFI 1.7 was quite installed (from apple) ?
Because the transparent label which seals the white cardboard box was taped over with a new one, I'm not reallly sure if I got a new one.

Can somebody confirm that the EFI 1.7 is now pre-installed on new 2,53GHz MBPs ?

I wanted to install a new Intel SSD, at first without the update regarding the beachball problems, many users have.

Check how many cycles are on the battery in System Profiler. If it shows 1-2 then you're fine. Yes, Apple is now shipping new Macbook Pro's with EFI 1.7.
