I have a Macbook 6.1 with a damaged EFI due to installing other operating systems.

As it stands now, I have to perpetually restart my computer to get it to actually boot.

I am trying to apply the fix here but I cannot seem to find any .scap files that everyone is referring to (or some other blatantly easy step I am missing).

Any advice?

Installing other operating systems does not damage your EFI. Try resetting your PRAM and reformatting your hard drive.

I'm merely going off all of the comments I have read.

Reformatting and reinstalling does not fix the issue.
