I ran into problems with installing windows XP on my mac pro which has two hard disks. I installed XP onto the second hard disk as a second partition. However, when I go to enter the GUI part of the installer it gives the error that hal.dll is missing or corrupt. I have tried doing the usual fixes for this problem recreating the boot.ini file this did not help. So now i am trying to remove the XP partition and it won't let me do that, no errors it just does not go away. How can I tell if i deleted my EFI partition? Is their even a EFI partition on the second drive? thanks...:D
