I have a Macbook Pro 15" early 2011. I'm running Lion 10.7.2. with an optibay setup--a OWC 120GB with the latest firmware in the main bay and a Samsung 1TB HDD in the optibay. The Samsung 1TB contains two partition--Boot Camp (250GB) and an HFS+ drive for storage.

Now the problem is that occasionally when I boot up my MBP, the EFI will not recognize any drives but the BootCamp partition and show a folder with a question mark. However, sometimes, I won't even be able to boot into the Boot Camp partition. Most times though, my MBP will boot into Boot Camp but will not even see the other partitions (including Recovery) when I press Option during boot.

Yet the strange thing is that when I boot into Boot Camp, it sees the other partitions and I am able to use the boot camp utility to startup onto my Mac partition.

Any ideas what the hell is going on? I tried creating a new partition and removing it to reset partition maps, repairing disks, and repairing permissions.
