eFile Help - Cant find a site that works right!

Help! Every site I go to works, I enter all my information, and then click File Electronically, and the site timeouts or gives me cute error messages like this :


Electronic Filing Error: The Intuit Electronic Filing Center is experiencing unusually heavy demand and is unable to accept returns at this time. It's not necessary to contact Customer Service or Technical Support. Instead, please try to file your return again later. The best time to file electronically is usually between 4:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Pacific time. We apologize for the inconvenience.

I've been trying for the past two hours.

Anyone have any luck with a site?

I got it to finally accept.

Had to do it in Internet Explorer.

Go figure.

Lucky you. It's apparently a major problem and is now hitting the news wires. I still haven't gotten mine through. I have no other way to pay other than e-file so I really hope I can get it through before midnight or else Intuit works something out with the IRS so that people late because of this problem aren't penalized. They're hinting at that but seem reluctant to come right out and say it.
