EGPU on Macbook Pro

Hi Gang, i've heard the new OS Sierra offers support for EGPU. I am currently running a late 2014 macbook pro 11,2. I use adobe after effects which would benefit from an nvidia gpu. is it possible to run an EGPU on this machine?
