I have been thinking about buying into a new setup where I will sell my current iMac and instead use my MacBook Pro with an eGPU and an external display at home. However, I still have my beloved late 2013 rMBP and I just had it serviced since it's just such a great machine! That means I don't want to invest in a new notebook anytime soon. Now my question is:
Can I use one of the new TB3 eGPU enclosure also with an TB3 -> TB2 converter to plug it into my current MacBook? If the downside is losing a free fps here and there in Games under Windows, I can totally live with this.
