Egyptian donkey jailed for theft

What a dumb ass...

Seriously, it's about time the government cracked down on rampaging donkeys. Enough is enough.

Now if they'd only take care of the goat that snacked on my laundry last week.
 
Before The Internets™ we were safe from the knowledge that this kind of stuff went on in other places. Anyone else long for the old, more innocent days?

There are no "Mullas" in Egypt and no stoning and no Mickey Mouse "condemnation" business. Stop reading the onion and buy yourself a map. I lived a big chunk of my life there, in Cairo. Egypt is not Afghanistan.

Yet they jail asses (and presumably other animals). Careful what you defend.
 
about damn time! why is it that only humans are held responsible for their actions?! I hope the rest of the world starts imprisoning animals. Their days of freeloading are OVER!

Actually, a Muslim Cleric by the name of Mr. Munajid issued a 'fatwa' against mice and specifically mentioned Mickey Mouse in the process. One point of clarification, Mr. Munajid as far as I can tell, is not from Egypt but rather Saudi. Still, it's an Islamic 'fatwa', and the majority of Egyptians are Islamic.

Thats what I keep telling my cat,,,Society in Islam land seems to be broken but you would have thinked they would have cut off his leg or tail or something as a lesson to all the other asses.
