Eject key doesnt work

Hi all,

My friend has a late 2008 unibody 13" macbook, and his eject key stopped working. All other keys around it work and he is able to eject discs through finder fine.

I think its a physical problem with the key itself but I'd like a second opinion, any help is appreciated.

Take it into an Apple Store, or Call Apple Care. It may be a bad key sensor.

I forgot to mention that he got his entire top case + keyboard replaced about 2 weeks ago. The key only stopped working today..could it just be a bad key?

That's pretty much what TEG is suggesting it is..

Before hand though, try just rebooting, and failing that, try resetting the PRAM.
