Ejected Disc Keeps Reconnecting

I have a micro usb connected to my Mac Pro 16 in. Whenever I eject it, it immediately reconnects seconds later. Any idea what's going on? This doesn't happen with the SSD I use for backups.

How exactly are you disconnecting it? If you just take it out, that will cause issues.
