I have an early 2008 Mac Pro and have recently upgraded to OS X 10.9. Since doing so, every time I boot the system, the disk tray housing my Rosetta Stone CD ejects. This was not an issue before.

It seems to me that it is attempting to remove the disk as though to tell me it isn't a bootable OS disk. Has Maverick changed the order of boot options?

It's a minor nuisance, but something I'd like to change nonetheless. My gratitude to anyone who can point me in the right direction to stop the ejecting disk tray on startup (without just removing the disk).

New since Mavericks: auto ejecting disk drive at startup

Yes, Have mid-2012 Mac Pro 5,1 that's doing the same thing. New since Mavericks. Have no idea how to stop this annoyance.
