Hey guys,
Using Yosemite my 2012 uMBP would have 1GB of HD4000 VRAM with the iGPU and 512mb of VRAM with my dGPU, even Apple's website states it has a maximum of 1GB VRAM assuming the system has enough RAM as a base (https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204349)
However I've just booted up El Cap and my iGPU VRAM has jumped from 1GB to 1.5GB! dGPU VRAM is identical naturally.
Is this good enough to be true?! Has El Cap allowed me to get more graphical punch from the same hardware?!
