I run a MacPro 4,1 and upgraded my System to El Capitan and to 10.11, and I can't log into Messages. Everytime I try I get the can't authorize iMessages message. I went through a lot of forum posts and tried all the solutions, including creating a new user account, and even that would not log in. So I tried a fresh install of El Capitan 10.11 on new hard drive, and even that will not allow me to authorize iMessages in Messages with my iCloud account (actually it is still a Mac account, but it doesn't with icloud.com either).
My serial numbers show up fine in about this Mac, and I have not replaced the mother board or processors and RAM, though I do run a PC NVIDIA GTX 670 with 4GB of RAM, but it still doesn't work when I go back to my GTX 275 it came with.
The only thing I can think of is the Wifi AC and Bluetooth Card from MacVidCards. I have that installed and it worked great with Yosemite, and I still seem to have handoff and continuity enabled in El Capitan, and I can use my iCloud drive, and Facetime seems to work, but I just can't authorize iMessages.
Does anyone have any ideas?
