I have the El Cap public beta version on my iMac. I'd like to get out of the beta, and just be on the regular public release updates, namely 10.11.2, that was released today.

Can I just download the update from the App store, or do I have to do anything special?

Thanks!

Yes, this works. To stop getting the update notifications, you need to deregister your Mac from the beta programme under System Preferences > App Store.

Thank you for the info. I deregistered from the beta program and updated to the public release no problem
