I recently updated to El Capitan and have noticed that suddenly my OCSPD process is using 100kB/s bandwidth constantly. I had to resort to blocking the process on little snitch as I typically am tethered through my phone service with limited bandwidth.
I saw on Google that this has happened for years on old releases and the general consensus of the fix was to just block or disable the service.
Anyone have modern suggestions on what is actually wrong with my certificate checking processes rather than just blocking a fairly important piece of OSX security?
