Hello everyone,
Like most, I was excited to see the new update for Mac...I started trying to download it yesterday but had to cancel the download since it was getting late. I resumed the download this morning. But after reading that perhaps I should wait a while to see if any bugs are resolved, I tried to stop the download. It has been stuck on "Paused" for about an hour now....I have restarted, shut down, and tried everything but I can't get rid of this symbol on the dashboard (attached).
On the App Store screen (under updates), in the El Capitan header it says "Paused" too, but says "waiting" next to that. It has been waiting for an hour, and I'd like to just cancel the install, but it won't let me.
Are there any "tricks" I'm missing? Don't want this going on in the background if it's not doing anything!
