I just cleaned my MacBook (mid 2011 320GB HDD 8GB Ram Intel i5) as it was too loaded with crap.

I am a Beta tester and had El Capitan Beta 6 installed. Was running fine and all. Now, that I erased the HDD and wanted to re-install El Capitan again.

After signing into the App Store and validating my password, I get the error message "This item is temporarily unavailable" Try again later.

Well later I did try...about 50 times over the past 5 hours...

Do you guys know any help aside from using a bootable usb stick with Yosemite? Is the App Store offline or El Capitan?

I did it last night with my iMac end 2010, and it worked perfectly fine.

Thank you!!!
