It is companies like Elago that always make me scour the internet for accessories. You would never find Elago on the shelf of a Best Buy or a random electronics store down in Union Square, which is a shame, but you can find them online and since then we have been hooked. Today we are looking at one of their most popular products - S4 Glide iPhone 4 case.
As soon as you open the package you are greeted with accessories. Elago decided they wanted you to get more than just a case with your purchase. They include an additional bottom clip (either black or white depending on case choice), front and back protection film, and a microfiber cloth. Getting more than what you paid for is always a plus in our book.
Elago's case just looks - great. The first thing that really catches your eye is the glossy finish the case has. Compared to their competitor's Elago offers a beautifully smooth finish that really sets their colors off. Oh and that's the other thing - colors. Do not expect just your run of the mill black or white options - no no. Maybe a Sport Yellow or Extreme Hot Red will fit you? Oh how about the SF Orange to brighten your day?
It is the little things that really makes a case great in my mind and Elago has these features. Their logo is not written in big letters down the back of the case or has a goof design. The case is simplistic and bold. The power button and headphone jack slot are actually centered in the middle of their holes (you would be amazed on how many cases don't) and lay-on-the-table feature are just a few that really sets this case off. While using this, I did not have a problem with the flash mainly due to the large cutout Elago incorporated.
"Design is Improvement" is Elago's motto. The S4 Glide is definitely a pristine example of this and for $24.99 it comes at a great price.
