Elargo S4 Breathe Case

Just got my Elargo S4 Breathe case (silver). Ordered it 5 days ago from the US (im in UK). Took the slowest shipping options which was supposed to be 10-20 days so it arrived a lot sooner than I expected.

First impressions is that the case feels really nice and look really good. It feels matt and kind of soft but it is a hard plastic case. Its fits very well.

Only thing I will say about it is that I had a Zagg Invisible Shield on the back, side and front of my phone. I had to remove the side and back pieces as it seemed to be effecting the fit of the case.

Has anyone else had any experiences of this case?

I've got one on my 4, along with a SGP ultra crystal film set. Fits great. Thankfully I decided to get rid of the side film protection otherwise I'm sure it wouldn't fit like yours sebgreen.

For $12.99 from their store it's definitely not overpriced! Plus the minimal packaging is a refreshing change.

I have both, the finish on the Elago is softer, grippier and the plastic is slightly more flexible. The Elago also shows fewer casting marks, has a different cut out for the camera/flash and buttons. The default case is a more solid feeling plastic which much bigger perforated holes.

close but Elago is really more polished. I have had fitment issues with my Elago cases though, and currently have replacements on the way. I have 4 default cases with no issues, good enough for $12 bucks spent...I got 4 cases vs 1 from Elago.

For $12 it's a great deal, not so sure about the retail price though.

Update - wear

Hey,

So a quick update on my case.

The edges started to wear after 2 days..... NOT GOOD. It was only very slightly but it annoyed me only having had the case for such a short time. Contact Elago who were very apologetic and offerd to send me a replacment case. I was pretty sure another silver case would suffer the same so I asked for a black on.

It was just delivered so I will post some pics of silver and black case.


Has anyone else has issues with wear?
 
black one also has same issues, their customer service is excellent but their soft touch coating is a normal wear & tear item it looks like.

I would have just asked for a refund. Hopefully, it will last longer than your first one. Good luck.
