I don't know if this is a El Capitan thing, but I was on a trip last week and wanted to use my Girlfriends Macbook Air (with ElCap), to transfer files via USB from my GoPro to the Mac (and then to the external HDD). It didn't work. The Macbook found a Camera (not in the Finder, but in Photos, Dropbox and Apples build-in Digital Pictures-App), but no content. Yesterday I received my new Force-Touch Macbook, updated to ElCap and visited my grandfather, who asked me to download his videos from his Windows Phone to make an iMovie. And again the Camera was found, but not the Content. Same Problem with completely different gear. I have done both actions much earlier (Lion-Yosemite) with no Problems. What can i do?
