Hi everybody!

I am going to purchase Yamaha DTXpress electronic drum set and I'll want to connect it to my Mac with GarageBand.

The sound module of the drum set has midi-in-out (big round ports). What cable to I need to make garageband see not a single audio-wave, but a track where each hit on the drums is actually a separate note?

I was thinking about MIDI-to-USB cables, but will they work with GB? Are there any other possibilities?

Thanks! :D

Not Sure, my guess :

I guess the input to the Mac would be either USB or the same as a headset (not sure what it´s called). I´m buying a Elc.Drumkit too so what I was wondering was if it would work on Garageband, but it most likely would :)
Thank´s for the nice Thread, if I get anymore info, I will reply again.

*EDIT*
