We will be updating our website soon. The change will reflect the many different colors the Vapor case will be available in, including the blk/blue in addition to customization and a "stealth" version (no Vapor logo). We're still defining the custom laser engraving as to where or what useable space on the Vapor case will allow space for etching, etc. Once we determine that and build jigs to hold the case (during the laser etching process), then we will put the service on our site.

We using a 2ply 2x2 twill carbon fiber that is epoxy resin infused..approx .015" thick with a 3M dbl back adhesive on it. You peel off the backing and adhere it to the back of the iPhone (glass). The adhesive is NOT permanent so the carbon fiber backplate is removeable and totally independent of the Vapor case. (ie. you do not have to remove the Vapor case before you remove the carbon fiber)

A Email I received today from them. Very cool.

Aaah, thank you very much for the Stealth option. Was the only thing holding me back.

Liking 'stealth'

Now. Need to see the blue option. proly still do all black. Not that anyone should care :)

Purdee

I like them alot. I just set a pre-order, or should I say put myself on a mailing and calling list. I really hope this company doesn't abuse possible customer's private info. But I really would like to buy the products, the design is very sexy.

I am on the August waiting list for the Black/Red. I also received an email from customer support verifying that the "smaller" logo will be on the case. That's fine with me.

since .015" is about .3mm, its safe to say this is gonna be the thinnest case ever (on the back at least) except maybe film, but REAL carbon fiber is infinitely stronger than plastic film

WARNING: this post may contain slight exaggeration

It's closer to 0.4 mm (actually around 0.38 mm). Still quite thin though!

Will the sticky carbon backplate damage the iPhone oleo phobic screen coating?

Mine is on order, with a plate, in pink!!!

Will it really improve signal strength? Cuz that would probably be the only reason I would spend $80 for it.

looks like they have a new picture on their website of the vapor that is not a 3d rendering, but an actual image of the case...
