Hi,

Which Eye TV will be the best? I want it basically for the Freeview. There are basically 2 choices: EyeTV Diversity and EyeTV Hybrid. Freeview is Digital - right? So basically I do not need extra "analog" bit of the EyeTV Hybrid?

... or maybe I should get something else?

Thanks for advice

Dan

If you don't need analogue as you say, go for the Diversity. The Diversity can use two inputs to get a good signal if your reception is bad. I have the Diversity and live in an ok area for Freeview reception and I can use both decoders separately and can thus record one channel while watching another. It usually works very well. Sometimes the EyeTV software crashes, but only once in a while.

They are portable devices. The analog comes into its own if you travel and cannot get a decent digital signal. Where I currently live in London is one case in point. At least with the Hybrid you have a stab at getting the 5 terrestial analog channels.
