Elgato Game Capture Question

I am wanting to start to record ps3 gameplay and have decided on the Elgato HD Game Capture. I will be using a macbook pro 15 inch. Specs are:

Hi-Res antiglare widescreen display, 1680-by-1050 resolution

4GB RAM
750GB hard drive @ 5400 rpm
Intel HD Graphics 3000 and AMD Radeon HD 6770M

Will I be able to record on my MacBook Pro without any lag? I am also going to update my RAM to 16GB.
