As promised by the guy (Volker) that maintains the official Elgato Blog, new firmware purported to take advantage of the new polling method in iOS 11 that enables faster Bluetooth LE (BTLE) device response has started rolling out a few hours ago.
It was my understanding that Elgato would have the new firmware available for all their BTLE HomeKit devices, but so far only the Eve Motion seems to have gotten the update in my case as of this writing. It does make sense to update them first, as the motion response delay had been one of the biggest inconveniences.
I will be seeing if the performance improvements are as expected in the coming days.
