I know it's a tiny bit off-topic but it's worth a try considering the amount of experience here.

I'm trying to use for work an Elgato Stream Deck XL. It works flawlessly if I connect it to a modern Macbook Pro with a Usb 3 port (even through a hub).

On my 5.1, which has a cheap Usb 3 card I got on Amazon (link below), the Elgato device turns on normally, shows all the button as usual...BUT...the moment I click a button, that command gets repeated infinitely (i.e. volume down clicked once brings down the volume to zero) and this prevents the use of a second button because essentially the previous command is still clicked.

Actually the Elgato Deck DOES require Usb 3 officially...but I was hoping it might work with a card.

Do you think it's worth trying another card? Any suggestion?

It's clearly not a power issue but more of how the "data" are treated by the Usb bus....but I'm not an expert on that field.

Thanks
