Elgato Systems Hybrid "HOT"

Hello,

I just picked up a Elgato Systems Hybrid eyetv and I must say I love this little device but the coax that I have connected to it gets so hot that I can not hold on to it for more then 4 seconds! I am looking to see if anyone else is having this issue. I would also like to mention that I am using a powered antena to pickup the digital ATSC.

Thank you for contacting Elgato Systems.

The coax connector on the Hybrid can be hot however it should never be hot enough to burn you or start a fire. If you think it is excessive we will replace it for you.
