One of my eMacs has a problem, the CRT will not show an image, and when it occasionally does, it looks like a lightsaber (sorry, its the clearest visual). What could be causing this, I will be opening it up soon, i just need some ideas.

Be carefull opening it up. Its a CRT! It can be a deadly exercise. It is not recommended at all.
