emac kernal panic occuring....

Kernal panic is occuring-"No Driver For This Platform" previous to this i was trying to update to 10.4. My previous OS now appears to be gone. Apple hardware test revealed bad ramm. I've since removed. Restore disks are reading when in the drive; only 10.4 disc seems to work; but now i'm running 128mb ramm.
Any suggestions what to do.....

Did you back up? If so, get more ram, reformat, reinstall.

If not, find another Mac, and use your mac in target disk mode. Connect them together w firewire cable. Copy. Then start from top.-

Tiger needs 256MB of RAM so that might be why it's not installing. Now that you've removed the faulty RAM, you might need to replace it with a good stick or two. Also, is this a retail version of Tiger or did you get it with another Mac?
