You do realize that this thread is almost 10 years old right? Not trying to be rude but if you have an issue, start a new thread. It is much easier to see what the problem is

Go to the PowerPC Macs subfourm, and hit the new thread button, it is red. Title it your issue and write up on what is wrong.

Also your issue might be that you don't have an airport card installed, so Ethernet is required. Use an Ethernet cable to connect from the eMac to your router
