Folks I came across an eMac, but the previous owner had removed the case and prior to reassemble he didn't include the wires going to the Power Button.

I've been searching online for labeled Mother Board pictures, and I've downloaded a service manual .pdf, but so far, without a full breakdown I don't yet see where I'm going to be able to power this thing up with a replacement self-fabricated wire loom.

Any help would be appreciated.

If the eMac is open with the screen down and the optical drive nearest to you, the power button plugs into the logicboard in the upper left corner. It's a small white jack that has two prongs in it.

Aha!, Thx.

Turns out the end of the cable that plugs into the switch was tucked all back into the rest of the machine.

As I type, it's currently Up & Running.

'tanks,
