eMac wont sleep... Please Help!

Earlier today, we had a quick power outage while my computer was asleep. Now I can't put the computer to sleep manually or automatically. I'm loosin my mind! I've tried reseting it, hitting the power button, everything. Please help, thank you.

Emac going to sleep

Vinnie, did you get a response to this? My eMac won't go to sleep either. The screen goes dark for a couple of seconds, then comes back on.
Let me know what you found out. Thanks
