sometimes I email stuff to myself from my own computer and those things invariably end up in my spam folder. How do solve this problem?
sorry if I posted in the wrong area. G

You could stop sending yourself junk mail.

Really though, if that happens, click the "Not Junk" button that should be at the top of one of the emails.

the not junk button puts the email in my inbox, but it does not give me the option which it does with other emails to add the email address to my address book

Go to the Address Book application and make sure that the email address you are sending them from is under your entry. It should said something like "Me" next to your name or on your picture or something.
