I have had this question for the longest time.

Macmail "remembers" certain addresses. By this I mean that when I type in a few letters in the TO field a number of addresses will come up from which to chose. Ok.

Now the question is where are these addresses stored ??

Evidently they don't have to be in the address book app. I wish, it would make it easy. I just have not been able to find an answer and it bothers me a lot. What if I wanted to makes sure that certain addresses would never come up ?

Also, how does the mail program decide which addresses to remember ? are there rules that govern that ?

thx a million.

Thank you !!!!!!!!!

(I mean it)

Wow, I wonder, could this ever be in a less logical place ? Of course I could not find it.
