It's hard to say when this started, but my Mac's mail app has been inexplicably retrieving random deleted emails, no real rhyme or reason to it. I've gotten quite used to Mail over the last 4 years, and I've got fairly detailed management for my 7 accounts with multiple folders. While I'm hardly a fan of the app, it does work (mostly) and I'd really rather not switch apps or run more than one app to alleviate the duplications, which is what I'm doing right now (outlook, which did not have this issue.)
I get copies of emails anywhere from a day to a couple months old, even though the original was deleted and the delete bin emptied. The repeat mails retain their original date/time stamp. There is no pattern and the senders are random as well.
Any ideas? It's been a while since I've used outlook regularly and I'm not particularly interested in learning the latest version. Thanks.
