email attachments download to computer

Hi all, I have received an XLS file as an attachment to an email. I want to transfer this to a PC, or Mac from the Iphone.

Is this possible? if so How?

Read the email on your computer and download the file.

Then find a computer with internet access, download the file and transfer it to your other computer.

As the other helpful members have pointed out, this is not possible unless you 'jailbreak' your iPhone as Apple has locked the iPhone down so it is not possible to transfer files like this officially.

You will have to download it on a computer directly I am afraid.

I haven't tried this myself, and if you look around the app store, you may find more like it. This is merely the first app with this function that I came upon through google search.

It's stupid that one has to pay $9.99 just to download attachments for alternate uses.
