A friend has just bought a mini and his email attachments such as *doc and *pdf etc are showing up as mime attachments. I don't have this problem, mine show and open correctly. We both have Goodreader installed but I can't think of any other differences between our iPads. Does anyone have any thoughts please?

Are you both using the same email. Perhaps it's something in the way his email server handles attachments
