iPod touch Email & calendar sync problems

My IPT works perfect on my home wireless network. At work however I can use safari to access the internet and iPhone store but my email and calendar does not sync. My .mac account and my gmail account do not work from my work wireless network (I wrote this on my IPT from my wireless network at work)
Arririnal Info. My work network requires login which I did in order to access the net
